Ultvigor Construction Company Limited is committed to ensuring the Health, Safety and Welfare of its employees, sub- contractors and visitors within its working environment. We encourage all of our employees to regard accident prevention and working safety as collective and individual responsibility.

The purpose of this policy is to ensure that our employees are aware of their responsibilities and those of the company in ensuring a safe and healthy working Environment as provided for under the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2006 and other applicable National and International relevant laws, regulations and guidelines. We recognize our moral and legal responsibilities to ensure that our operations do not place either our employees or wider community at risk of injury or illness.

In fulfilling this responsibility, Ultvigor Construction Company Limited, all employees and subcontractors have a duty to provide and maintain so far as reasonably practicable, a working environment that is safe and without risk of harm both at our offices and field sites. Our Health and Safety Policy has the following objectives:

• To provide a safe and healthy working environment for all employees.
• To make every reasonable effort to prevent accidents, protect our employees from injury and promote the Health, Safety and Welfare of all employees.
• To ensure our casual and temporary staff and sub-contractors at work sites are accorded the same level of health and safety protection as our own permanent staff.

Ultvigor Construction Company Limited shall seek to achieve this by:

• Identifying and reducing the risks of all types of work activities that have the potential to result in personal injury or occupational illness.
• Providing instruction, training and supervision to improve staff and managers understanding of workplace hazards, including safe work practices and emergency procedures.
• Involving staff and managers in environment health and safety matters and consulting with them on ways to recognize, evaluate and control work place hazards.
• Ensuring that all staff, sub-contractors and visitors comply with the relevant standards and workplace directions to ensure their own and others health and safety in the workplace.
• Providing adequate systems, procedures and resources to effectively manage rehabilitation and return to work processes.
• Establishing an Environment, Health and Safety Advisory committees; including staff and management representatives.
• Developing and implementing Environmental Management and social monitoring plans and ensuring all negative environmental and social impacts at our Projects are mitigated.

Ultvigor Construction Company Limited’s Managing Director has the overall responsibility to ensure
the implementation of this policy at all company sites.
